General
We take great pride in the quality and construction of all of our merchandise. All DwellStudio products are made of the highest quality cotton and linen available. DwellStudio prints are all low-impact fiber-reactive dyes. They contain no heavy metals or other known toxic substances, are AZO free and formaldehyde free, and meet all criteria for eco-friendly pigments.
+ Are your products organic?organic separates bedding and our organic layette collection are made of 100% organically grown cotton. For all of our other products, we do extensive testing on all items in compliance with industry standards. All of our products are formaldehyde-free and have NOT been treated with or contaminated by the following chemicals or agents during any part of the manufacturing process:
- Lead
- Formaldehyde
- FWA (Fluorescent Whitening Agents)
- AZO dyes
- Disperse dyes
- Toxicity from chemical finishes
While some fading due to extended use and washings is inevitable and natural, DwellStudio's reactive dye process ensures long-lasting color that stays true to its original hue. Using non-detergent cleaning products without harsh chemicals will also help to maintain the beauty of our products for years to come.
+ Can you do custom items?We currently only sell bedding in the patterns indicated on our site. If you are a large retailer, please contact us at sales@dwellstudio.com to inquire about our private label program.
+ Do you offer fabric swatches for quality and color reference?Yes, you can order swatches of our furniture fabric and our fabric by the yard. Fabric swatches of our signature patterns and products are only available through our retail partner locations -- so check out our Store Locator for a location near you!
+ Do you have a mailing list that I can sign up for?Yes we do! If you would like to join our mailing list, please visit our homepage and enter your email in the signup box. As a member of our list, you will receive information on sample sales, upcoming events, new designs, and special offers to our valued customers.

+ Do you offer gift wrapping services with an online purchase?Yes, DwellStudio now offers gift wrapping. Please visit our Gift Wrap page for more information.

Ordering
+ How do I know if my items are in stock?All items are in stock unless otherwise noted. Items on backorder will have an estimated ship date listed on the product detail page.
+ Can I buy your fabric by the yard?Yes! Our fabric collection for Robert Allen is now available for purchase here.Happy decorating!
+ What is your return policy?Non-furniture merchandise can be returned or exchanged only within 30 days if it is unopened and in accordance with our return requirements. You must notify DwellStudio before attempting to return -- unsolicited returns will not be accepted. Please visit our returns page for complete instructions.
Shipping
+ How will my order be shipped?DwellStudio ships all non-furniture orders via FedEx Ground service. All non-furniture orders will be processed and shipped within 3-5 business days from the date your order is placed. Please be aware that FedEx does not deliver to post office boxes.
+ How do I obtain a tracking number for my order?You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order has been shipped. You can also check the status of your order at anytime by visiting "My Account".
+ Do you ship internationally?Currently we only ship to the continental US (including Alaska and Hawaii) and Canada. Unfortunately we do not ship directly to foreign countries including US Territories (Puerto Rico, Guam & US Virgin Islands) and Mexico at this time. However, DwellStudio is now available in many countries- please visit our store locator to find an international retailer near you.
Bedding
+ Can I buy individual items, such as a single flat sheet or duvet cover?All of our sheets and duvets come in sets. Cases and shams are sold as pairs. Matelasse and quilted euro shams are sold as singles, not in pairs. Please refer to the product page for set component details.
+ Does any of your bedding come in California king sizes?At this time we do not offer California King size bedding.
+ What comes in a duvet set or sheet set?Full/queen and king duvet sets include one duvet cover and two shams or tailored cases. Full, queen, and king sheet sets include one flat sheet, one fitted sheet, and two cases. Additional shams and cases are available and are sold in pairs. Matelasse and quilted euro shams are as singles, not in pairs.
+ How do I care for my bedding?With proper cleaning and care, DwellStudio bedding will maintain its color and quality for years to come. Bedding: Machine wash separately in cold water. Do not use bleach or detergents containing bleach. Tumble dry low. Warm iron if necessary.
+ Will my comforter fit inside your duvet cover properly?Make sure to match your comforter's size, since you will be placing your comforter inside the duvet. For proper fit, the duvet cover needs to be at least 1" or 2" inches larger than the duvet/comforter. Here are the sizes of our duvet covers:
- Twin: 70" x 88"
- Full/Queen: 88" x 90"
- King: 106" x 92"
- Turn the duvet cover inside out, and lay it on top of the duvet.
- Put your arms inside the duvet cover and follow the seams up until you can grip the corners at the opposite end of the opening.
- Holding the duvet cover firmly through the duvet cover, shake the duvet cover down over the comforter.
- Fasten the open end of the duvet.
Furniture
+ How is your furniture shipped and does it require assembly?All large furniture is delivered using either our White Glove or In-Home (threshold) service. Smaller items are shipped via FedEx. All our furniture, with the exception of beds & cribs, ships fully assembled. Beds and cribs are flat packed and are assembled by our White Glove service.
+ What does your White Glove service include?Our White Glove service includes placement in room of choice, up to 2 flights of stairs, unpacking, packaging removal and assembly (if required). This service does not include the removal of existing furniture, electrical or component hookups (including wall mounting). Our White Glove carrier will call you to make a delivery appointment, confirm the order details, and gather any other information or special requirements for delivery. The delivery appointment is made for a four (4) hour window Monday through Friday during normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. Time specific deliveries are subject to an additional fee of $90 and homes with more than 2 flights of stairs are subject to an additional fee of $33 per additional flight.
+ What does your In-Home (threshold) service include?In-Home (threshold) service includes up to 2 flights of stairs prior to threshold and delivery inside home. There will be no unpacking, debris removal or placement in room of choice. The delivery appointment is made for a four (4) hour window Monday through Friday during normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm.
+ When will I receive my furniture order?In-stock items ship in 2-3 weeks. Custom orders usually ship within 6-10 weeks. Please note that furniture items ship from different warehouses, items ordered together are not always shipped together and may arrive at different times. You can refer to the item's product detail page for current stock status or email customerservice@dwellstudio.com to check on your order at any time.
+ Does your furniture meet safety standards?As parents ourselves, we are dedicated to producing products that are safe for your child’s daily use. All our nursery furniture either meets or exceeds US, Canadian & JPMA safety standards. All finishes are lead-free, low VOC, and completely non-toxic.
+ What are your cribs & dressers made of?Our cribs and toddler bed conversion kits are solid European beech wood. Dressers are made of solid birch wood, birch veneer, and CARB compliant recovered wood. Changing stations are made of solid birch wood. All finishes are lead-free, low VOC, and completely non-toxic.
+ What is your upholstered furniture made of?Our upholstered furniture is made of engineered hardwood that is certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) which means that the wood has been grown and harvested in a responsible manner. Our single wrapped foam cushions have an eco-friendly foam core and poly batting. Our Luxury Spring cushions have a recycled steel spring core encased with eco-friendly foam and poly batting. Our Ultra Lux cushions have a recycled steel spring core encased with eco-friendly foam, poly batting and an envelope of 100% feather & down padding. Gliders feature a recycled steel glide mechanism that both glides and swivels. All finishes are lead-free, low VOC and completely non-toxic.
+ Do your glider and ottoman upholstery fabrics have a stain-repellent finish?Since the safety of stain-repellents around children has not been established, we do not treat our upholstery with stain-repellents.
+ How does the crib convert to a toddler bed?With the purchase of a toddler bed conversion kit, you can convert your crib to a toddler bed. Simply remove one long side of the crib and replace with the toddler gate included in your toddler bed conversion kit.
+ What size mattress do I need for my crib and toddler bed?A standard full size crib mattress measuring at minimum 51 5/8” in length, 27 1/4” in width and between 4”- 6” thick.

+ Do you offer twin or full size bedding in the baby patterns?Yes we do! The twin and full sized kids bedding is available in select baby patterns here.
+ What comes in a crib set?Crib sets include one bumper, one fitted sheet, one tailored skirt, and one play blanket.
+ What comes in the kids duvet and sheet sets?Kids twin duvet sets include one duvet cover and one tailored sham. Kids twin sheet sets include one flat sheet, one fitted sheet, and one tailored case. Kids full duvet sets include one duvet set and two tailored shams. Kids full sheet sets include one flat sheet, one fitted sheet, and two tailored cases. Additional shams and cases may be purchased separately.
+ How do I care for my baby items?With proper cleaning and care, DwellStudio baby products will maintain their color and quality for years to come. For cleaning & care instructions, please see the product's detail page.
+ What size are your crib sets and accessories?All of our crib linens are made to fit standard size American cribs.
+ What is a baby boudoir?A baby boudoir is a small (12" x 16") decorative pillow to be used in the nursery, allowing you to bring the pattern used in the crib to other areas of the room. The pillow is made of 100% combed cotton with an envelope enclosure ("French back").
+ What are the features of your Diaper Tote?Our Diaper Tote is the perfect combination of form and function. The tote measures 16" x 12" x 6" and is constructed in a coated canvas with leather handles and a solid canvas sling pocket. The inside features a coordinating print water-proof lining, dual bottle pockets accessible even when the tote is closed, as well as multiple snap and zip compartments. The center divider keeps all of your baby essentials organized and easy to find. The simple-to-use stroller attachment will clip to any stroller effortlessly.

+ How do I search for a friend's registry?You can search for a registry by last name on our registry page: http://www.dwellstudio.com/registry/
+ My registry is password protected. How do I make my registry public?If your guests are having trouble accessing your registry, you can always make your registry public by following these steps:
- Select the registry that you want to make public. (Click the list name or select "edit" next to the list name.)
- Click the "Edit Info" link to the right of your registry name.
- Under Privacy Settings, remove your password and check "Show in Search Results".
- Click the "Save Event" button at the bottom of the form.
+ How do I share my registry?You can share your registry by email by clicking the "Share Event" button under "My Gift Registries". You can also share your registry location by going to "Preview" and copying the url in your address bar.
