One of our favorite summertime treats in NY is attending Shakespeare in the Park at the historic Delacorte Theater in Central Park. Taking in a little al fresco culture as the sun sets is one of those experiences that makes summer in NYC so special. The Public Theater—a downtown hub of innovative arts and culture—has mounted these free performances for the past 50 years.
Last week we had a chance to see As You Like It with live bluegrass written by Steve Martin! The show was incredible and seeing theater outside only enhanced the performance. Tickets can be hard to come by, but it's more than worth the effort! What are some of your favorite summertime activities in the city?
