With the winter weather we've been experiencing here in NYC we've seen all kinds of footwear around the office.

Some of us choose to brave the elements in boots that would make any outdoorsman proud:

love it. a good pair of all weather boots make stomping around in the city during the winter much more desirable. who makes the boots on the top right? love em

This is a bit of a late response (I only just realized that my favorite home brand has a blog and I've been going through your archives!) but I actually just posted about my new winter footwear this morning on my own blog: rubber riding boots! http://luisadesignblog.blogspot.com/2011/01/winter-footwear.html I used to not let winter weather interfere with my pretty heels, but unfortunately post-snowstorm Boston sidewalks are far more treacherous than NY ones :(

Hello all - wondering who makes the boots in the top left photo - I love them. Thank you in advance.

Christiane Lemieux is the Founder of DwellStudio, the author of Undecorate, mother of two plus a dog and is married to Joshua Young, who is also her business partner. Christiane graduated from the Parson's School of Design with a degree in Fashion design. She also has a degree in Art History. Christiane is inspired by travel and design.
