Our flagship store in SoHo will be collecting donations of gently used winter hats, coats, scarves, mittens and new packs of diapers all week from noon till 6pm to help support Baby Buggy families who were affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Let's stand together to help rebuild New York!

Our flagship is located at 77 Wooster Street between Spring and Broome Streets.

Christiane and her family may have retreated to Rhinebeck, NY during Sandy, but that didn't stop them from trick or treating in the beautiful town. Here are a few of her Instagram snaps from last night. We love the old house she spotted... it looks so haunted, don't you think?

An authentic haunted house in Rhinebeck.

With all of the post-Sandy craziness here in New York, we almost forget today is Halloween! What are you all doing to celebrate? Are you dressing up? Making pumpkin-themed treats? Or watching old-school scary movies? We were just scrolling through Pinterest and noticed all the lovely oranges, reds, mustards and flaxen hues that are trending. We gathered up a few of our favorite chic pumpkin-hued images...

We hope everyone is safe and sound post-Sandy! Here in New York we're slowly recovering. The power is completely out below 39th street and our subway system is down. Our Flagship store is currently closed; however you can always browse our online shop! Do you follow Christiane on Instagram? It's been so interesting to see her snaps from SoHo. We would love to share a few of her images with you... (clockwise, from top right) cobble stone-lined Grand Street is underwater, traffic lights are out along the West Side Highway, a rainy view of SoHo near our flagship and a few white caps on the Hudson River. Be safe everyone!

We love the ladies behind Decorative Traces. This awesome site is devoted to an intelligent approach to design—both past and present. This dedication spills over to their inspiring musings on Pinterest as well. Lately, we've been especially excited by their Glamour board. Think of it as a momentary vacation into an haute world! With delectable images of high-fashion moments like Kate Moss stepping out of a car in a luxe coat and the divine Yves Saint-Laurent reposing with his model muses Lou Lou de la Falaise—this board has serious drama! Who are your favorite pinners? We would love to know!

P.S. make sure to stop by our Urban Tag Sale next Saturday to hang and shop with Jessica and Danielle of Decorative Traces!

Plus a few of our favorite local foodies will be on hand with their yummy treats: Whimsy & Spice, Macaron Parlour, Robicelli's and Liddabit Sweets.

We can't wait to see you there! And make sure you read up on Christiane flea market tips to prep for some serious design scouting.

We adore the interior design magazine Luxe, and we we're excited to share that Christiane recently spoke to them about opening our Flagship store in New York, her personal style and favorite new design trends. Below are some of our favorite moments from the interview...

Work approach:

I'm constantly looking, reading and hunting for new ideas to spark my next collection. New York is a big source of inspiration.

New Trend:

The moody color movement that's happening in interiors is very interesting. In fact, I just painted my white kitchen charcoal, and it has made my apartment look brand new.

Current inspirations:

I'm really feeling the chic French thing: Madeleine Castaing and Pauline de Rothschild mixed with Emmanuelle Alt.
