Our design team developed the Tubular Burst Sculpture based on the elements of our popular Tubular Burst Objet. Its geometric silhouette comes from the modernist qualities of Mid-Century American sculpture and architecture. Asymmetrical proportions, spiky details, handcrafted construction and flashes of gold—this piece will infuse any room with a dose of drama.

Have we mentioned our obsession with explorers Martin and Osa Johnson? Well, if you didn't already know, our design team loves the trailblazing spirit of this safari duo! So this season we redesigned the zebra stripe for our new Osa Pillows (named for the explorers!). Our riff on this design classic is bold, geometric and daring. We think this graphic pillow (available in mustard and charcoal) is the perfect way to dress up the sofa. What do you think?

Here at DwellStudio we love the idea of extending grown-up taste into the kids room. Our philosophy on kids decor is that the pint-sized abode should reflect your family's personal style, whether its chic, eclectic, edgy or minimal. Our favorite tips for extending sophisticated style into the kiddos space: choose timeless furniture, pieces with longevity and don't shy away from hanging modern artwork or painting the walls in darker hues (muted tones can be soothing for the little ones sleep cycle). Enter contributing editor of Vogue and co-founder of Moda Operandi Lauren Santo Domingo—this tastemaker's Pinterest is filled to the hilt with inspiring images. We adore her Children's Room board—fully stocked with gorgeous interiors for the kiddos. From sweeping artwork to gilded accents to bold stripes and wallpaper, she's our go-to proof that sophisticated style can extend into the kids room with a chic appeal! Who are your favorite pinners?

Do you know Eva Zeisel? Our design team adores this 20th Century ceramics legend. Eva is known her playful pottery designs that feature sensuous curves and organic shapes.

Born in Hungary in 1906, Eva cultivated a passion for ceramics at an early age, and she maintained her creative drive throughout her prolific career. A consumate artist, Eva constantly sought to challenge and provoke the idea of modern design and beauty. Her pieces are classics in museums throughout the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art.

One of her most iconic pieces is this salt + pepper set. Doesn't it look like two people embracing?

Another famous design—her belly-button wall dividers are part of the decor in the lobby of the Standard Hotel in LA.

Her book The Magic Language of Things is a DwellStudio library favorite. Our designers love pouring over the pages filled with Eva's words, designs and inspirations. One of our favorite quotes from Eva on design is, "I have always thought of my own work as a link between the past and the future, not as a break or departure from past styles."

Our new Eva Pillows (named for Zeisel!) from our Fall Collection were inspired by the shapely contours and undulating shadows that are so prevalent in Eva's work.

We're inspired by... Eva Zeisel! Who are you inspired by right now?

Last week over on Facebook we posed the question... "Do or Don't: A gallery wall in the kids' room?" You responding with a resounding YES. And we agree that a salon-style wall of art in the nursery or kiddos' room is both inspiring and design-savvy. We love the idea of dressing up the decor agenda in the little ones' room, so we decided to roundup a few of our favorite kids' rooms with modern art style!

From our Facebook post, we adore the use of childhood sketches and bold graphics in this room via Lonny Magazine.

Personal photos set in chic frames make a sweet gallery wall for the nursery via A Cup of Jo.

Op-art contrasts with horizontal stripes and comic book prints via Martha Angus.

Tradition with a twist in this modern kids' room combines velvety, tufted headboards, Italian Renaissance-style paintings and childhood sketches. Image via Nuevo Estilo.

And one from our files... at DwellStudio we love to mix our animal heads, graphic prints and kids' illustrations for an inspiring gallery wall escape! (P.S. this image is a sneak peek of our new kids' bedding).

We've long been fans of Bri Emery and her blog Design Love Fest. Her sweet and quirky style just puts a smile on our faces. Remember when our Draper Stripe duvet set was spotted in her loft in this Rue Magazine feature? It's just so happy and bright, don't you think? It's no surprise that Bri's Pinterest is stocked with equally fun-loving images. We're especially drawn to her photos of chic bathrooms. Have you ever considered decorating your salle de bain with fish tiles, a salon wall or graphic wallpaper? After perusing Bri's Lovely Spaces board we're brimming with bathroom-style ideas!

Who are some of your favorite pinners? We would love to know!
