Once again, reporting in from one of the Bar-B-Que meccas of the USA, North Carolina. Join us as we eat our way through the South. Today it's from Lexington BBQ, reportedly the best BBQ in North Carolina. In fact, President Reagan had it brought in especially for the G-7 summit in Williamsburg, Virginia with political luminaries Thatcher, Mitterand, Trudeau, and Kohl. I think it was a secret plot by the President to stupefy world leaders and render them helpless in a pork coma in order to gain the upper hand in negotations. We know, it happened to us.

Once again, our favorite part of the itinerary: LUNCH.

For the light BBQ eater - pulled pork, topped with cole slaw with a side of hush puppies. No bun.

For the true BBQ eater, pork topped with cole slaw and BBQ sauce, on a bun with chips and hush puppies.

A bag of glistening hush puppies, fresh from the frier.

Smokehouse BBQ sauce - indescribably delicious! Not sweet, but vinegar + spices + a little smoke.
