Well the pattern is spectacular but the color is not at all what was pictured. Definitely a silver grey background and the citrine was muted. It was the inspiration for my whole room...luckily I just bought the shams first. I'm gonna make them work!

I would agree with the previous reviews that the colors are more muted. The photo cast more of a white background due to the window lighting. With that said, I absolutely love this duvet. I think the design and colors are wonderful and the fabric is very soft. I cannot wait to put this on my bed!

I just received the bedding yesterday and I love it! Sheets and all, it's very nicely made, but not too heavy a material. We have 2 dogs and it will hide both their hair colors! I am very very happy with my purchase

So I totally agree with the other posts that this picture is not a good representation of the actual colors but I still love it. It looks more brown than grey.

In real life, this duvet is 2 shades of grey and a muddy yellow. NOTHING like the photo...frankly can't believe Dwell is using this picture. Agree completely with Lauren's review. Wish I could get a refund!

Love this duvet set - as the previous reviewer mentioned, it IS slightly muddier in real life but still beautiful. The duvet is so soft and doesn't show any dirt or small mark at all (which is a plus when a puppy is sleeping on it too :)) Couldn't recommend this enough!

This duvet looks fantastic ... on the website. In real life, It looks old, faded, dingy and dirty!! The yellows are muted to the point of drab and essentially blend in with the muddy grey (NOT WHITE) background.
Quite annoyed that I have to pay for return shipping. The item is completely misrepresented in the picture. The duvet on the website is obviously altered beyond recognition in retouching. Someone must have gotten a little happy with the brightness settings. That's preposterous, dishonest and misleading.
Do not get your hopes up. For $300, I expected much better.
